Who we are
Ramnath Group Pty Ltd ABN 27 611 488 343 trading as FinForce Australia (“FinForce”, “we”) is a Corporate Authorised Representative (No. 001241242) of Financial Force Pty Ltd ABN 42 091 425 464, Australian Financial Services Licence No. 238337. Our office is Level 7, 190 Edward Street, Brisbane City QLD 4000. Phone 07 3262 6585, email admin@finforce.com.au.
We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
What we collect
- Enquiries: your name, mobile, email, message and preferred contact method when you use our contact form, call, email or book a time.
- Advice clients: the information we need to give personal advice, such as identity details, income, assets and liabilities, super and insurance details, tax file number (only where needed and permitted), family and estate details, goals and risk tolerance.
- Sensitive information: for insurance advice we may need health information. We only collect it with your consent and where it is reasonably necessary.
- Calculators: the calculators on this site run in your browser. The numbers you enter are not sent to us or stored.
How we collect it
Mostly directly from you: through this website, by phone, email, video call or in person. With your consent we may also collect information from your accountant, lawyer, super funds, insurers or product providers.
Phone calls to 07 3262 6585. Calls may be answered by Chloe, our AI receptionist, which takes down your details and what you need so the team can call you back. Calls to this number are recorded and transcribed. The phone system is run for us by AutoReception, which processes the call recording and transcript on our behalf so the team can follow up. AutoReception uses its own technology providers to deliver this service. If you would rather not be recorded, email admin@finforce.com.au instead.
Why we collect it
To respond to your enquiry, decide whether we can help, provide and administer financial advice, meet our legal obligations (including under the Corporations Act 2001 and anti-money-laundering laws), and manage complaints. If you don’t give us the information we need, we may not be able to help or our advice may not be appropriate for you.
Who we share it with
- Our licensee, Financial Force Pty Ltd, for compliance, supervision and record-keeping.
- Product providers (for example super funds, insurers and platforms) when we implement advice you agree to.
- Service providers who help us run the practice, such as paraplanning, IT, CRM, scheduling (Calendly) and phone answering (AutoReception) providers. Website forms are delivered to Shay Ram and our office inbox by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a third-party form service. FormSubmit may show a short spam check page before your message is sent.
- With your consent: PRM (Professional Relationship Management) for tax and accounting, or Money Quest for lending. These are separate businesses.
- Regulators, AFCA, or others where the law requires or allows it.
We do not sell personal information.
Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers store data outside Australia. Bookings made through Calendly (calendly.com/finnforce) are processed by Calendly LLC in the United States. Some of our other service providers, including our phone, website form, email and support providers, may store or process information outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to make sure overseas recipients handle your information consistently with the APPs.
Website and cookies
This website does not use any visitor tracking or analytics tools, and sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts and images are served from our own site. Our web host may log technical information such as your IP address and browser type for security.
Keeping it secure
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, and we keep advice records for the period required by law. If an eligible data breach happens, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
Access and correction
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you. Email admin@finforce.com.au or call 07 3262 6585. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually 30 days. If we refuse, we will tell you why.
Complaints
If you have a privacy complaint, contact us first using the details above. You can also contact our licensee, Financial Force, on (07) 3210 0244 or compliance@financialforce.com.au.
